If over a pound it can not ship First Class, it must ship Priority and that can be expensive. I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER THIS and only charge you EXACTLY what USPS charges me. That amount is printed on the upper left of the shipping label. I ship Monday - Friday morning. If paid for before 8am EST, it  will ship the same day. If payment is made on the weekend OR a holiday it will ship the next business day the post office opens.
Insurance is included up to $50.00  and in the event this arrives damaged it will be up to you to file a claim at your local post office. I  CAN NOT 
file the claim for you because you will have to take the item and the original packaging to file the claim.
